What you will be doing
Install, maintain and perform switching and diagnostic tests on electrical apparatus such as circuit breakers, transformers, regulators, capacitors, protective relays, AC and DC control circuits contained within the transmission and distribution electrical supply system
Safety is a critical component of our every day; we work to ensure workplace safety and maintain safe working conditions
Manage multiple assignments and priorities concurrently, while looking for ways to continuously improve our processes to gain efficiencies and make your job easier!
Participate in emergency response activities as needed
In order to provide best in class service, we ensure availability on a 24/7 basis to respond to field emergencies and implement emergency response procedures as necessary

What you bring
Associate Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Applicant must be capable of physically and mentally working in/on electric facilities
Must be able to learn safety rules associated with job duties and follow same
Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and a CDL or be willing to obtain one within 60 days of hire
Job responsibilities include serving on a 24-hour emergency watch periodically
Required to be available to work overtime
On the job training provided so we are looking for candidates from apprentice to journey level professional
The ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams
The ability to work at heights up to 50 feet
