Summary

The Sheet Metal Apprentice is an introductory, training level for the sheet metal duct trade. Advancement is a possibility forcandidates with little or no experience.

Responsibilities:

• Install duct hangers
• Assemble TDF and slip/drive joints
• Assemble Snap-lock and Pittsburgh seams
• Be able to utilize material and personnel lifts safely
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Basic Requirements:

• Abilityto read a tape measure

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions

• Employer will provide PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses and hard hat

• Employer conducts Drug screen, Background check andMotor Vehicle Record check

• Comply with company attendance policy

• Driver license preferred

Work Schedule:Full time; Day Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; 30 minute unpaid lunch, 40 hours per week with potential overtime.

Salary: Starting at$15.00 per hour. DOE.
