Ironworker Apprentice. Full-time, permanent positions available with Rommel Fence. Family owned headquarters located at 17 Railroad St, Poland, NY. Pay: 1st year range $18.00-35.00/hour. We specialize in all types of commercial fencing including chain link, motorized, security, access control, institutional and industrial. Candidates should be hard working, self-motivated, safety minded employees able to handle outdoor physical labor in all weather conditions. Competence with various hand tools and equipment is a plus. * Get paid great money while you train to become a journeyman in a New York State Registered Apprenticeship Program. * No Ironworker experience necessary. * Install all types of fence throughout NYS except NYC area. * Projects with NYS agencies: OGS, DOT, DASNY, NYPA and others. * State Rate Ironworker Apprentice Pay and Benefits. * In business since 1965. * Training and development is a priority and paid for by Rommel Fence. Requirements: * 1 year of any type of work experience. * Hard Worker and Reliable. * Availability for overnights. * Valid Driver License Mandatory. * Pass drug screening and background check. * Physical job-Ability to lift 90 lbs. * Minimum Education-High school or GED. * Work outside in all weather conditions.
