Job Title: Electrical Apprentice - DAYS

Job Description

All levels will be performing installs of basic electrical equipment and systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.

• Running rigid (1.5 inch) pipe down to gear box

• Wiring 3 way switches

• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components and devices associated with electrical equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.

• Installing and mounting electronic controls, device, panels, sensors, and components.

• Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices.

•Experience work with Electrical Distribution systems and wiring up 480V. Ability to install conduit, wireways, pull wiring/cables and terminating cables. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and control wiring diagrams.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Ruther Glen, Virginia.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in Ruther Glen, VA. The shift is from Monday to Thursday, 5:30 am to 4 pm, and Friday from 5:30 am to 2 pm. Currently, we are operating 4 10-hour days and an 8-hour day, but we are transitioning to a straight 40-hour work week (4 10’s). You will be working in a pleasant manufacturing facility.
