About the Role:

We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter at TWE’s cutting edge winery! Over the course of 4 years, you will develop your skills as a tradesperson through firsthand training with experienced professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a rewarding career in mechanical fitting.

• Assist in the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment and systems used in wine production, including pumps, presses, centrifuges, and cross flows.

• Grow your skills through on-the-job training and attend classes/training sessions as required to develop mechanical fitter technical skills and knowledge

• Support the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and increase the longevity of equipment.

• Adhere to all TWE safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

• Work closely and communicate with maintenance team members and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operation of winery equipment.

About You:

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated apprentice with the willingness to learn and an interest in making a career in mechanical fitting. You will ideally have a basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools and with good communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies.

• Takes a hands-on approach to problems
