PLUMBER APPRENTICE

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plumber Apprentice will learn to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, fixtures and other apparatus of water and drainage systems for bringing in the water supply and removing liquid and water-carried wastes in homes and commercial businesses, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
• Will dig, learn principles, and use a jack hammer.
• Pay attention to detail, be self-motivated, and drive/use a backhoe.
• Fix, remove, replace, and install pipes within the foundation wall of the building or within one length of pipe from the home or building.
• Apprentice Plumbers learn to perform above duties under direct supervision of a Master or Journeyman Plumber.
• Prepare for preliminary/temporary license and state exam.

Requirements:

• Must be over 18 years old and be a high school graduate
• Must have a bank account for direct deposit availability
• Must have no previous plumbing experience
• Must have valid CDL, insurance, and reliable transportation
